full offense but none of you would have ever survived fanfiction.net in 2009
remember when writers had to be all like:
“omg omg lemon starts HERE”
y’all are lucky that ao3 has tags and filters you can setSometimes shit was marked “lemon” and it’d just be them making out, and sometimes they’d just start pissing on each other
No rules, no laws, you took your life into your hands opening fics

So many TV shows/movies depict the Epi Pen as a total solution for anaphylaxis…it’s not. The Epi Pen gives you 30 minutes to get to a hospital where they can save your life. TV makes it look like you just have to use the Epi Pen and then the crisis is over. Do people without allergies or a loved one with allergies know that an Epi Pen only buys you time? The more I see this on TV the more I worry…
**Maybe you should reblog this because I’m actually worried that most people don’t know.
Omg so much this! I have to use my epipens about three times a year and my doctor recommends I shoot both of them in my thigh and then call an ambulance! They are a STABILISER not a cure!!
A girl I worked with at camp had her epi pen reaction time down to a Fine Art.
She knew from the second that first epi pen went in she had 11 minutes. Not 10. Not 12.
11 minutes exactly. And if she was not physically in the hospital in that 11 minutes, it was time for the second epi pen.
The second epi pen gave her 13 more minutes. If she was not in the hospital in those 13 minutes, she was in serious, life threatening trouble.
In fact, this was so deeply well timed- that we as staff members at this camp - located in a rural area- were instructed to stab her with the first epi pen, then put her in a car and start driving whilst we called the ambulance. We were told ‘start driving to the hospital and call on the way, because every minute closer to the hospital was one minute less that the ambulance had to drive. Give clear instructions about the car type/where are/turn your headlights and hazards on so they will see you.’
Thankfully we never had to use the epi pens, nor did we have any hospital trips that summer.

i think villains in general provide better, more epic romances because they’re allowed to go to extremes. they’re allowed to put their love over the greater good. they’re allowed to be selfish. the best a hero can offer you is number two, because their duty comes first. villains, though. villains will burn down the world for a last kiss goodbye.
Yea, sure. Until YOU or people you love are among the victims for someone else’s love and the villains won’t care. Would also like to point out that some villians(Kuvira, for example) have been willing to sacrifice/throw away love interests for their own goals.
idk about you but existing in the real world gives me and my loved ones immunity from the actions of fictional villains. hope you manage to get your family out of star wars.

chadwick boseman made all of those movies, did all of those press junkets and red carpets while battling cancer that no one knew about it. FOR YEARS. he played important historical figures and gave the world black panther on the big screen. he made sure to leave his mark, always with a smile on his face even though internally he was going through all of that pain
